ACCESSIBILITY STATEMENT

Tippster is a free football tipping game as a web app (app.tippster.app), as an Android app and with a website (tippster.app). The goal is for as many people as possible to be able to use Tippster – including with a screen reader, using only a keyboard, with a visual impairment or on small screens. The basis is the Accessibility Strengthening Act (BFSG) and the European standard EN 301 549, in practice WCAG 2.1 at level AA.

Scope

This statement applies to the web app app.tippster.app and the Android app (which displays the same web app) as well as the website tippster.app, in both German and English respectively. The admin area is intended solely for the operator and is not the subject of this statement.

Tippster is operated by a micro-enterprise and therefore does not fall under the obligations of the BFSG (Section 3 (3) BFSG). Accessibility is nevertheless pursued on a voluntary basis.

Status of compatibility

Tippster is partially compatible with the requirements. All pages and functions were tested using an automated testing tool (axe-core, WCAG 2.1 and 2.2 rule sets, levels A and AA) and additionally checked via keyboard navigation, at 200% magnification, and for announced form errors. A complete test with screen readers is still pending. Therefore, compatibility is only partially confirmed.

The "WCAG 2.1 AA" conformity logo in the footer is a self-declaration by the provider; the W3C has not verified this information.

Inaccessible content

The following content is currently not or only partially accessible:

  • Usage with screen readers has not yet been tested consistently. Individual areas of the logged-in app may behave differently there than expected.

We cannot guarantee the accessibility of third-party websites linked by Tippster (for example, Google Play).
