TERMS OF USE

§ 1 Scope of Application

These Terms of Use apply to the use of the web application "Tippster" (accessible at tippster.app and app.tippster.app), operated by Stefan Landvogt - IT Consulting, Wolfratshauser Str. 137a, 81479 München (hereinafter referred to as "Operator"). By registering or using the app, you accept these terms.

§ 2 Description of Services

Tippster is a free online prediction game for major football events (e.g., FIFA World Cup 2026). Users can predict match results, create private prediction rounds with friends, and compete in leaderboards.

Usage is completely free — no ads, no in-app purchases, no premium model.

§ 3 Registration and User Account

• The use of Tippster is permitted from the age of 16.
• Truthful information must be provided during registration, especially a valid email address.
• Registration is possible via email/password or social login (Google, Apple, Microsoft).
• Login details must be treated confidentially. The user is responsible for activities under their own account.
• Only one user account is allowed per person.

§ 4 Rules of Conduct

The following is prohibited when using Tippster:

• Offensive, discriminatory, or objectionable nicknames, profile pictures, or group names
• Manipulation of tips, scores, or leaderboards through technical interventions
• Misuse of the platform for spam, phishing, or illegal purposes
• Automated access (bots, scrapers) without the express permission of the operator
• The creation of multiple accounts to manipulate results

§ 5 No Gambling

Tippster is purely an entertainment offering. No monetary stakes are made, and no winnings in money or monetary equivalent advantages are paid out. Tippster does not constitute gambling within the meaning of the German State Treaty on Gambling (GlüStV).

§ 6 AI Functions

Tippster offers an AI opponent that automatically provides tips for all games. The AI predictions are for entertainment purposes only and do not constitute betting recommendations or other advisory services.

§ 7 Availability

The operator strives for the highest possible availability of the app. There is no entitlement to uninterrupted availability. Maintenance work, technical malfunctions or force majeure can lead to temporary restrictions.

§ 8 Limitation of Liability

• As Tippster is a free service, the operator is only liable for damages resulting from intent and gross negligence.
• No liability is assumed for the loss of tipping data, scores, or group information due to technical malfunctions.
• The accuracy of the displayed match results and score calculations is ensured to the best of our knowledge but cannot be guaranteed.

§ 9 Intellectual Property

All content of the app (design, texts, graphics, software) is protected by copyright and is the property of the operator. Reproduction, distribution, or any other use without express consent is prohibited.

§ 10 Account Deletion and Suspension

• Account deletion can be requested at any time via email to tippster@landvogt.consulting.
• The operator reserves the right to suspend or delete user accounts without prior notice if these terms of use are violated.
• Upon deletion of the account, personal data will be removed in accordance with the privacy policy.

§ 11 Changes to the Terms of Use

The operator may change these Terms of Use at any time. Significant changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use after changes constitutes agreement.

§ 12 Applicable Law and Jurisdiction

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies. The place of jurisdiction is Munich, as far as legally permissible. The EU dispute resolution platform can be reached at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. The operator is not obliged and not willing to participate in a dispute resolution procedure before a consumer arbitration board.
